Rm 24 Google Meet

Yesterday afternoon we had the best turnout at our 2pm Google Meet of 12 children and 2 support staff online. Can you see yourself and your friends? We talked about who has a 'Pop It" at their house and we showed them to each other... This is Mrs Carter's rainbow teddy one!

This week we are meeting with our own classes at 2 o'clock in the afternoon as our morning Team 2 Google Meets were getting busy and now everyone can have a turn to talk when they raise their hand and use GM4GM! Well done everyone for sharing. Mrs Carter loves seeing your happy smiley faces everyday while we are all staying safe in our Bubbles at home...

PJ has been busy working through some Maths problems from his MoE pack he received in the mail. He is learning about which object is the heaviest and largest? Great learning from home PJ, well done from Mrs Carter.

Level 4 lockdown!

PJ has been joining in our Team 2 Google Meets and wrote this on his daily journal: Today I feel happy because I saw my friends. Well done from Mrs Carter.

ENGAGE fun!

PJ enjoyed playing the Ball and Spoon race game with his peers as part of keeping active for Kiwisport in Rm 24!

Matariki Day

PJ was fascinated by the texture of the clay and tried his best to mould it into the shape of a banana to create a mini waka and then he enjoyed decorating it with small colured stones and pebbles. This was a great sensory experience as the clay went from soft to hard and will need time to dry in the sun.

Copy Me Game!

PJ was able to quickly create this small structure using LEGO blocks to copy the same colours and pattern in this fun and challenging game using thinking skills. Well done from Mrs Carter.

My trip to Stardome!

PJ enjoyed travelling by bus with his Mum to Cornwall Park in Greenlane to visit the observatory. He learnt about the earth, moon and sun and joined in the interactive games. He also had fun at the playground with his friends! What did you like the best?

Happy 7th Birthday!

Water safety in Term 1.

PJ thoroughly enjoyed his session in the water at the Glen Innes pools and had a smile on his face the whole time! He is learning to be safe in the water and have fun collecting the toys.

PJ's pirate!

Back to level 3 - learning from home!

PJ has been very busy working on his workbook at home this week. He loves Maths and can solve all these basic fact problems by himself!
